This project I worked on during my Senior Thesis course at The College of New Jersey. I edited the first three episodes of the podcast using Adobe Premiere Pro and uploaded them to the TCNJ IMM Youtube Channel.
Project Description
The idea behind the podcast was to give senior students and professors the opportunity to ask guests from different interactive multimedia industries questions ranging from advice on how to break into the specific industry, to challenges and experiences while working on projects. Editing each episode wasn’t a difficult task, but figuring out how the intro and outro looked, along with what the logo for the podcast would be, took the most amount of time. The logo for the podcast I made in Adobe Photoshop using different Roscoe the Lion graphics from the TCNJ Graphics Standards guide and a microphone graphic that I had found. It took a couple of iterations before I landed on the final version that was used. As for the intro and outro, it took a bit to get the timing right with the music and the transitions. I eventually managed to nail the timing and I feel that the intro and outro came out really good in the end. The song that I used for the intro and outro is Smoke Jacket Blues by TrackTribe and I found it in the Youtube Studio Audio Library. While this project only lasted for a couple episodes during the semester, it gave me the opportunity to work on a video project that would allow me to showcase my video editing skills and create something that other people could benefit from watching.
